5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
Here we are told to walk in love AS Christ loved us. This is hard to do isn't it? Now I am not talking about the people in your life that are easy to love. What I am talking about are the people in your life, or the people you come into contact with that are difficult to love because of their behavior or attitude. We all have people in our life like that don't we? But no where in this verse, or others for that matter, does it say we are not required to love them as Christ loves us. No it is not easy, no it is not what we always want to do, but it is what we are called to do. May this scripture be a reminder to all of us today. Especially me.
