I can paper piece!

Now this may not mean anything to non quilters but it is exciting to me. I made my first paper pieced block and it only took me 4 tries and 2 days lol.

See I adore hand applique and hand quilting. I have learned to machine applique and machine quilt. I am learning to hand piece. I have never until now tried to paper piece. I have quilted for about 15 years now, and it was always on my list of things to do, but i kept putting it off. I really dislike machine piecing that is why I have started learning to hand piece. I do like the look of hand piecing and applique together. Well here is the picture of my first paper pieced block!
