Ps 55:6 And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away and be at rest.
Ever feel overwhelmed? Exhausted? I do today. I still have a sinus headache and so everything appears larger then life. The few dishes that need washing, the couple of loads of laundry, the 5 year old grandsons graduation from day care tonight, the supper out afterwards with the other set of grandparents, the call I got that future son-in-law got laid off this morning, etc, etc, etc.
Jn 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
This scripture tells me where to find peace. I just have to seek Him to find it.
Phil 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
I will be clinging to Phil 4:7 and to my Savior Jesus Christ today. How about you?
