Do you have an ear?

Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Jn 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Notice in the verse in revelation, if we overcome not only will we be eating of the tree of life, but look where it is!! It is in the midst of the paradise of God!!
Now the second verse I posted is both encouraging and discouraging. It talks about peace and tribulation.
I know a lot of us are dealing with depression right now. But rejoice sisters in Christ, He tells us He has overcome it and in HIM we will have peace. So for myself and the rest of you, when the old devil comes with his bag of tricks and tries to cause us depression, let's run into His arms. They are wide open and ready to wrap around us. And let us run to each other and encourage each other that we love each other and are willing to help anyway we can, but most importantly we will pray with each other and point each other to the Lord of peace.
Remember the song,
What a Friend We Have In Jesus
What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness; take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge, take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do your friends despise, forsake you? Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield you; you will find a solace there.

Blessed Savior, Thou hast promised Thou wilt all our burdens bear
May we ever, Lord, be bringing all to Thee in earnest prayer.
Soon in glory bright unclouded there will be no need for prayer
Rapture, praise and endless worship will be our sweet portion there.
